JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville’s Maeve Brennan and Coastal Carolina’s Charlotte Sadler earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women’s Lacrosse honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Brennan helped the Dolphins to two wins where she scored five goals on 12 shots. The junior attacker fired off 11 shots on goal in-route to recording seven points on the week. Her four goal performance led the team to the program’s first-ever win.
Sadler had another big week in goal as she made 23 saves over two games for Coastal Carolina. The graduate student, who recorded her fourth and fifth wins of the year faced 59 total shots, played all 120 minutes in goal. This is the second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week nod for Sadler.
