North Florida Claims 2021 Men's #ASUNXC Title; Jubran Named Runner of the Year

MACON, Ga. - Nathan Jubran guided North Florida to its third title in program history as the Ospreys finished 38 points ahead of Liberty to capture the 2021 Spring ASUN Conference Men's Cross Country Championship at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course. With 16 points, the Ospreys tied the all-time lowest team total set in 1981.

Jubran's winning time of 24:38.04 edged out teammate Aidan O'Gorman's 25:09.06 as Jubran became UNF's third ASUN Runner of the Year. The Ospreys registered seven runners in the top-14 and five in the top-10 as Jubran, O'Gorman, Leo Queyrou, Noah Perkins and Jake Turner were named First Team All-Conference. Turner was named Freshman of the Year and joined fellow Osprey Robert Pedroza on the All-Freshmen Team.

Liberty took second-place with a team score of 54 behind Ryan Drew's fifth-place performance as he earned First Team All-Conference honors. Kipruto Kogei, Felix Kandie and Caleb Olson also finished in the top-14 for the Flames. Lipscomb's third-place finish was highlighted by Brady Johnson who placed seventh overall followed by Patrick Smith who finished in eighth place.
