JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship banners once again belong to EKU and Lipscomb, respectively, following Friday's title races at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Fla.
Taha Er Raouy paced the Colonels and earned his second ASUN Runner of the Year honor with a finish of 23:16.9 in the Men's 8K race. The junior's winning time set a new ASUN Championship record that was previously held by former EKU student-athlete Ahmed Jaziri. The Colonels earned their fourth-consecutive team title led by 2025 ASUN Coach of the Year Cory Erdmann.
With 29 points, the Lipscomb Bisons earned the Women's Cross Country Championship for a league-best 12th time. Mia Bergman led the charge for Lipscomb with a 16:24.0 time and a third-place finish.
