JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) highlights the Men’s Soccer upcoming competition for the week of September 22.
After a 2-1 loss to Central Arkansas, the Bellarmine Knights look to defeat the West Florida Argonauts as ASUN Men's Soccer conference play continues. The Knights will travel to Pensacola, FL for their lone match this weekend on Saturday night.
Central Arkansas handed Bellarmine its first loss of the season last weekend, defeating the Knights 2-1. The Bears look to add another victory to the win column this week as they host conference opponent Jacksonville on Saturday.
The FGCU Eagles will travel to Charlotte, NC to faceoff against the Queens' Royals on Saturday night. The Eagles come off a 2-0 week that saw wins against Houston Christian and Incarnate Word as well as a weekly award honor when Javier Brown was named Defensive Player of the Week.
After a 1-0 loss to Lipscomb, the Jacksonville Dolphins head out on the road to Conway, AR to face Central Arkansas. Jacksonville is currently 3-3-1 overall as it looks to earn its first conference victory this season.
Lipscomb sits in third place in this season's standings after earning a 1-0 victory against Jacksonville last weekend to improve to 2-1 in conference play. The Bisons host the Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday before heading to Chapel Hill Saturday to take on North Carolina.
The undefeated in conference play Ospreys, sit atop the standings with a 5-3-1 overall record that is good for a .611 winning percentage. North Florida defeated West Florida last weekend, 3-1. This week, the Ospreys will host Trinity College of Jacksonville on Tuesday before Stetson comes to town for a 2025 semifinal rematch at Hodges Stadium.
Queens will travel to Blacksburg, VA to take on Virginia Tech on Tuesday before hosting FGCU in Charlotte Saturday. The Royals added another conference victory to their record last weekend when they defeated Stetson 1-0. Queens is now 1-1-1 in ASUN play heading into their Saturday matchup with FGCU.
Stetson will host host UCF on Tuesday night before travelling to Jacksonville, FL on Saturday to face North Florida. The Hatters look to flip the script after falling to the Ospreys in last year's semifinal on penalty kicks. The Hatters enter the pair of matchups 2-5-1.
West Florida will host Bellarmine in its lone match this week. The Argonauts are coming off a 3-1 loss to North Florida and are currently 1-2 in conference play, and an even .500 (3-3-1) overall.
