JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Following Saturday's final regular season contests, the seedings and matchups have been determined for the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Baseball Championship.
At 22-8 in conference play, North Florida currently holds the best record of any ASUN program this season. The Ospreys enter the conference championship as the champions of the Graphite Division and the overall top seed. Lipscomb and North Alabama closed out the regular season with 19-11 conference marks to each earn a share of the Gold Division Championship. The Bisons enter postseason play as the #2 seed while the Lions have earned the fourth seed. FGCU looks to get back to the championship final again this season after closing out the regular season with a 17-12 conference record.
The 2026 ASUN Championship begins Tuesday, May 19, in DeLand, Fla., on Melching Field at Conrad Park with the No. 5 seeded Jacksonville Dolphins taking on the seventh-seeded Austin Peay Governors at 2 PM. At 6 PM, the Central Arkasnas Bears (No. 6) will round out Day 1 action when they take on the eighth-seeded Stetson Hatters. The winners will advance to Wednesday to take on UNA and FGCU respectivley, while the losers go home. This year's postseason event is both single and double-elimintation that ends with the champion crowned on Saturday, May 23. All of the tournament matchups are streamed live on ESPN+.
