HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Thursday's 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Beach Volleyball Championship Quarterfinals saw Stetson, North Florida, FGCU and Jacksonville earn victories to advance to Friday's Semifinals.
#1/No.14 Stetson 3, #5 Jacksonville 0
Nationally-ranked (14th) Stetson swept No. 5 Jacksonville to earn its second sweep of the championship and a spot in Friday's Semifinal matchup. Julia Czurylo and Zoe Flueckiger put the Hatters on the board first with a straight set, 21-11, 21-16 victory on Court 3. Pair of the Year, Marta Carro and Maria Ozaeta defeated Jacksonville's Megan Hair and Claire Mrukowski 21-19,23-21 before Katie Camp and Anniina Muuka sealed the dual on Court 4. The Hatters will face FGCU on Friday to claim a spot in the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship Final for the 14th consecutive year.
#2/No.18 North Florida 3, #3 FGCU 1
Defending champions, North Florida, defeated FGCU 3-1 on Thursday to earn a spot in Friday's Semifinal matchup. FGCU's Alexis Keeter adn Ava Lilliquist claimed Court 1, 21-16, 21-16 to put the Eagles on the board first. UNF got the point on Court 4 when Kamryn McDonald and Sophia Notaro beat their FGCU counterparts 21-17, 21-14. Eden Anderson and Ally bunch gave the Ospreys the edge on Court 5 after defeating Vanessa Moriarty and Emma Soncrant 21-19, 21-14. Samantha Crosby and Presley Murray clinched the match on Court 3 in a three-set victory against Andrea Dietz and Sydney Majick. UNF secures its spot in the Semifinal and looks to earn its third tournament title in three years.
#4 North Alabama 3, #8 Austin Peay 0
North Alabama swept Austin Peay Thursday morning to advance keep its postseason alive. The Lions earned three straight set victories on Courts 3, 4 and 2. Jennah Athcley and Brook Bolden defeated Alyson Cooper and Sage Raby 21-15, 21-7 to earn the first point of the dual. Gaby Harnden and Emma White clinched Court 4 with a 24-22,21-14 victory before Audrey Gauthier and Selma Robinson earned the third point of the dual on Court 1.
#6 EKU 3, #7 Central Arkansas 0
EKU swept Central Arkansas on Thursday morning to keep its postseason hopes alive. The scoring began on Court 2 when Gabriella Armitage and Elpida Pitsigkoni defeated Chandler Lawrence and Madelyn White 21-8, 21-14. Riley Cutler and Molly Shomock earned a 23-21, 23-21 victory on Court 1 to put the Colonels ahead 2-0. The dual was clinched on Court 3 after Amanda Floystad and Carlyn McAllister took Ella Layzell and Brooke Sharp to three sets and came out on top.
#3 FGCU 3, #4 North Alabama 1
FGCU defeated North Alabama in its second dual of the day to claim a spot in Friday's Semifinal. The Lions got the scoring started on Court 1 when they defeated Keeter and Lilliquist 21-19, 21-19. FGCU claimed Court 3, 21-17, 21-14 to tie the dual at one a piece. FGCU pulled ahead after Kaitlyn Beck and Kristina Gluc claimed Court 4, 21-14, 21-14. Nicole De Oliveira and Erin Miller notched the win on Court 2, 21-16, 21-19. The Eagles advance to the Semifinals to take on the top-seeded Stetson Hatters.
#5 Jacksonville 3, #6 EKU 0
Jacksonville defeated EKU, 3-0 in its second dual of the day to earn a spot in Friday's Semifinal for the first time in program history. Hair and Mrukowski put the Dolphins on the board first with their 21-18,21-17 victory. Avery Kliethermes and Breanna McDonough added another win to the scoreboard when they defeated EKU's Amanda Floystad and Carlyn McAllister on Court 3. JU clinched the dual when Morgan Perry and Kate Taylor earned the 21-11, 21-9 victory on Court 4. The Dolphins advance to the Semifinal to take on cross-town rival, North Florida.
