JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Alabama's Orgiles has been named this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Izan Orgiles was named Player of the Week after claiming four wins on the week against Bellarmine, Jacksonville State and Alabama A&M. In Doubles, Orgiles and Alberto Altur claimed a 6-3 win on the top flight against Bellarmine. In Singles, the junior earned a 6-3,6-2 win against Bellarmine from flight two before defeating Jacksonville State's Aman Dahiya on the third court. He closed out the week with a 6-2,6-4 Singles win against Alabama A&M.
