JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Austin Peay's Patton Samuels claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Golfer of the Week honor, announced Thursday by the league office.
Samuels finished tied for third at the Memphis Intercollegiate, held at Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee. The junior finished +2 with a total score of 218 (74-68-76), recording the best round of the tournament by any golfer with a 68 in the second round. He has now posted a top-five finish in seven of the first eight tournaments he has played in during his Austin Peay career.
