JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Alabama's Stanislava Bobrovnikova earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Tennis honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Bobrovnikova secured two Singles wins and one Doubles win in a 2-0 week for North Alabama against Jackson State and Jacksonville State. She defeated Jackson State's Paula Corbalan, 6-1, 6-2, from the No. 1 Court and secured a 6-3, 6-2 win against Jacksonville State's Polina Ramenskaja, also at the top flight. In Doubles, the Russia native and her partner Eva Ristola earned a 6-4 win over Jax States' Anna Syrova and Zuzana Pavelekova.
