JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Queens' Lucy Hogan earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Tennis honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Hogan secured a victory against Appalachian State at the No. 1 spot, outlasting her opponent 7-6, 6-7, 10-7. She led the charge against Montreat with a 6-1, 6-0 victory, also at the top flight. In Doubles play, the Ireland native and her partner, Andreea Onitoiu, defeated App State's Powell and Ruby Broadbent, 6-2 at the No. 1 position. The Royals pair also defeated Montreat's top pair 6-1.
