APSU's Miller-Green Highlights Academic All-ASUN Team

ATLANTA - Austin Peay's Lyle Miller-Green was named the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Miller-Green highlighted the 13-member Academic All-ASUN Team announced by the league office on Monday.

Miller-Green helped the Governors to their first ASUN Regular Season Championship this season and he holds a GPA of 4.00 while working on his master's degree in Leadership. The Burke, Va., native enters the postseason with a .395 batting average and a 5-1 record on the mound for APSU. So far in 2024, he has set ASUN single-season records for home runs (29) and runs scored (93).

The Academic All-ASUN Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
