ATLANTA - Following six contests on Saturday, the seedings and matchups have been determined for the 2024 Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Championship.
FGCU captured the ASUN Regular Season Championship posting a perfect 16-0 record to earn its 14th regular-season title. Stetson enters the postseason as the #2 seed to join the Eagles in hosting the two first-round contests. Central Arkansas is the #3 seed while Lipscomb owns the #4 spot.
The 2024 ASUN Championship begins on Friday, March 8, with #7 Austin Peay facing #8 Kennesaw State in DeLand, Fla., while #9 Jacksonville and #10 Bellarmine battle in Fort Myers, Fla. Quarterfinal action gets started on Saturday, March 9, when the Eagles battle the winner of the Knights/Dolphins game while the victor of the Governors/Owls contest will square off against the Hatters. Other quarterfinal games see the Sugar Bears hosting #6 North Alabama while the Bisons welcome #5 EKU to Allen Arena. The semifinal games take place on Tuesday, March 12, followed by the ASUN Championship Final on Saturday, March 16. All of the tournament matchups are streamed live on ESPN+.
