ATLANTA – Cleveland State's Alex Van Voorhis (Player) and Bellarmine's JC Higginbotham (Defensive Player) earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Alex Van Voorhis, Cleveland State
Senior | Attack | Columbus, Ohio
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; second honor in Cleveland State program history
- Led the Vikings to a 10-8 victory last Saturday against St. Bonaventure
- Recorded his second hat trick of the season in the 10-8 triumph for CSU
- Added an assist to his stat line against the Bonnies while having a .800 SOG%
- Returns to the field on Saturday when the Vikings travel to face Lindenwood in ASUN action

- Third Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; seventh honor in Bellarmine program history
- Recorded 17 saves on 22 shots on goal in the Knights' victory against Marquette
- Notched a .773 save percentage in the 11-5 win which was BU's fourth of the season
- Held the Golden Eagles to their lowest number of goals scored in a game this season
- Helped Bellarmine to its third consecutive win before league play begins Saturday at Utah
