JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – UNC Asheville's Caitlin Hefner and Vivian Fougeron claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimming and Diving honors, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Hefner was a key contributor in the Bulldogs' 150-149 win over Georgia Southern, finishing first in the 1000-Yard Freestyle (10:31.86) and second in the 500-Yard Freestyle (5:10.53). She was also the second leg of a winning 400-Yard Freestyle Relay squad with a 52.37 split.
Fougeron placed fifth overall in the 3-Meter dive with a score of 216.75. She also finished eighth overall in the 1-Meter dive, placing fifth versus both Georgia Southern and ECU (198.20).
