Field Set for 2026 ASUN Women's Basketball Championship

Jacksonville, Fla. - The field is set for the 2026 ASUN Women’s Basketball Championship with the regular season champions, Eastern Kentucky, earning the No. 1 overall seed. The tournament will take place March 3-9 in Jacksonville, Fla. with the first round games being held at the University of North Florida and Jacksonville University while the final three rounds are held at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

EKU earned the top seed after finishing the season 15-3 in conference play in route to capturing the program’s first ASUN regular season title. They earned a bye in the first round and will play in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 5 at 12 p.m ET.

The March 9 championship game will be televised on ESPNU while all games of the 2026 ASUN Women’s Basketball Championship will be available on ESPN+.

The winner of the 2026 ASUN Women’s Basketball Championship will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.
