JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mercer's Michael Frederick and Jacksonville's Drew Rippeon earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men’s Lacrosse honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Frederick was named Offesnive Player of the Week. He posted 11 goals, five assists and 14 shots on goal this week for the Bears. The senior recorded a .778 shooting percentage and tallied 16 points. Rippeon earned Defensive Player of the Week. The junior won 11-of-14 faceoff attempts to record a 78.6 win rate. He added eight ground balls and curently ranks second in the ASUN for ground balls per game with 8.33.
