JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FGCU's Nora Svensson was named this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Svensson led the way for FGCU in its upset win against USF last week in Tampa. She paired with Anjali Kotecha at No. 1 doubles to set the tone for the match witha  6-4 win. At first singles, she took down Melisa Senli, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the 4-2 win.
