JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida's Oliveira claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Isabel Oliveira earned Player of the Week after posting a 5-0, undefeated record on the weekend. At the two line, she notched Singles wins against Lipscomb (6-3,3-6,6-3), UAB (6-2,6-4) and Appalachian State (6-1,6-2). She teamed up with Laurie Barendse to earn Doubles wins against Lipscomb and UAB. Oliveira improves to 7-1 in Singles action and 8-1 in Doubles play while the Ospreys move to 16-0 on the season.
