CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Facing their third straight Big South squad, the Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team (3-2) extended its winning streak to three consecutive games with a 1-0 victory over Radford (1-3-2) on Saturday night. The victory proved to be historic as the Royals are riding their longest winning streak in Division 1 and have shut out their last three opponents for the first time in Division 1.

TURNING POINT
Coming off their third corner opportunity of the game, the Royals broke into the scoring column with a 58th-minute goal off the boot of Otto Gustafsson. The junior defender sent a touch to Michel Feldman, who returned the pass to the left of the box, finding Gustafsson in stride. The Ulricehamn, Sweden native ripped a left-foot strike into the right side of the net for the game-winner.

- Otto Gustafsson found the back of the net for the first time in his collegiate career. The California Baptist transfer logged 70 minutes of action and helped the Royals backline pitch another clean sheet.
- On the game-winner, Michel Feldman dished out his seventh career assist, and first of the season, while adding two shots, including one on target.
- The ASUN Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year continued his dominance with his third straight shutout. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native picked up two saves as he leads the league in clean sheets this year.
- Five Royals, including Leontios Zacharia, Anthony Brown, Jaiden Anderson, Valter Salavuo, and Matheus Rhormens, turned in complete games. Anderson earned his first career start and helped Queens turn in the shutout.
- The Royals attack generated countless scoring opportunities, winning the shooting margin 11-9, and 4-2 on goal. Nine different Royals tallied a shot with Michel Feldman and Hakon Halldorsson leading the charge with two shots.
- For the third straight match, Queens turned in a clean sheet, which hasn't been accomplished by a Royals squad since 2021.
- Queens improved to 8-3-1 all-time against Big South opponents in Division 1.
