JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb's Alyssa Hastings and North Florida's Allison Benning earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Softball honors, announced Monday by the league office.

Hastings appeared in four games for the Bisons over the weekend against Bellarmine and Tennessee State. In Lipscomb's sweep of Bellarmine, she recorded three hits, five runs, including two home runs in back-to-back games as well as six RBIs. In the field, the Huntsville, Ala. native had six putouts, 11 assists and zero errors. Benning notched three wins in North Florida's sweep of Jacksonville. The senior struck out 13 batters in 11.2 innings pitched. She earned a 0.60 ERA on the weekend, allowing only one run and seven hits. She currently leads the ASUN in ERA at 1.35 and has the second-most strikeouts at 118 on the season.
