JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb's Juan Carlos Rodriguez, North Florida's David Perez and Stetson's Andres Rodriguez earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Perez scored two goals for a brace in the Ospreys' win against crosstown rival Jacksonville. His performance helps UNF score its most goals (4) in an ASUN matchup since the 2018 season finale. Andres Rodriguez and the Hatters recorded a 1-1 week that included a 2-0 shutout of conference foe FGCU. Rodriguez played the full 90 minutes against the Eagles and scored the first goal of his career to provide insurance in the second half. The Bisons earned an important ASUN conference win on Sunday with a shutout of Bellarmine. Juan Carlos Rodriguez tallied five saves in the win and has not given up a goal in league play this season.
