ATLANTA – Jacksonville's Cristobal Molina-Campo and Christian Sekanina along with Lipscomb's Dan Karsten earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Karsten scored Lipscomb's opening goal of the season against a Memphis team that was receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches' Poll. The freshman scored the left-footed goal on his only shot of the night. Molina-Campo and Sekanina helped the Dolphins shut out Dayton, a team that appeared in the NCAA Tournament last fall. Molina-Campo scored the second goal of the game for Jacksonville while Sekanina tallied seven saves in 90 minutes of action.
