ATLANTA - Following Saturday's contests, the seedings and day one matchups have been determined for the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Softball Championship. This year's event, which begins on Tuesday, May 7, is hosted by the City of Oxford, Ala., at Choccolocco Park. The double-elimination bracket features eight league squads who have advanced to postseason competition.
EKU enters as the #1 seed after going 21-3 in league play to win the program's first ASUN Regular Season Championship. The Colonels earned a double bye into day three of the tournament along with North Florida. The Ospreys secured the #2 seed after taking down Stetson on Saturday by a score of 2-1 in DeLand. Central Arkansas and FGCU are the tournament's #3 and #4 seeds, respectively, and earned byes into Wednesday's slate of games. The Bears and Eagles await the winners of Tueday's single-elimination contests between #6 Jacksonville/#7 Queens and #5 North Alabama/#8 Austin Peay.
