JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bellarmine's Hayley Harrison and EKU's Liz Freihofer earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Harrison averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals as the Knights went 2-0 in the Spartan Shootout Thanksgiving MTE. She had a team-high of 16 points in Friday's win against Jackson State and followed up with a game-high 21 in a defeat of USC Upstate on Saturday. EKU's Liz Freihofer put up two career performances to help the Colonels to a 3-0 week and a five-game winning streak. She averaged 13.0 points and 2.6 rebounds while connecting on seven shots from long range.
