Bellarmine & Stetson Win ASUN Women's Basketball Weekly Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bellarmine's Hana Abdel Aal and Hope Sivori along with Stetson's Cameron Thomas earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office.

The Knights went 2-1 on the week with wins against Wright State and Akron and a loss to Purdue. Sivori averaged 19.0 points, 5.3 assist, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals in the three games. She scored a career-high 29 points with six made three-pointers in the win against Akron. Abdel Aal averaged 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for Bellarmine on the week. She had three blocks against Purdue and the game with the Zips. Thomas reached double figures for the fifth time this season with 27 in the Hatters' victory against Florida Atlantic. She was one rebound shy of a double-double with four of her boards coming on the offensive end.
