JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bellarmine's Hayley Harrison and Erin Toller along with North Florida's Jasmynne Gibson earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office.
The Knights have started the season 3-0 with home wins against Indiana Southeast and Midway as well as a road victory at Ohio. Harrison averaged a team-high 18.0 points per game on the week with a game-high 23 points against IU Southeast. She shot 51.5% from the floor and hit 16 of her 18 free-throw attempts over the three games. Toller sank seven of 11 shots, including three of four from long range, to score 17 points against Midway. On the week, she averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for Bellarmine. Gibson started all three games as a freshman for the Ospreys and totaled 30 points. She scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds in a win against Trinity Baptists while adding five assists, three steals and a block.
