JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FGCU's Cooper Blay joined the North Florida duo of Nick Kishchenko and Jaxon Reinhardt in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Reinhardt scored two goals in a 1-1 week for the Ospreys. The redshirt junior came off the bench and scored a goal in UNF's 3-0 defeat of Bellarmine. Kishchenko held down a backline that forced North Florida's first shutout of the season and only allowed five total shots from the Knights. Blay recorded a clean sheet with seven saves in the Eagles' home triumph against reigning ASUN Champion Lipscomb. He faced 17 shots in what was FGCU's second conference win of the year.
