2023-24 ASUN Men's Basketball Schedule Announced; League Play Begins Jan. 4

ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference announced its 2023-24 Men's Basketball schedule on Thursday marking the 46th season of league competition with 12 teams preparing to battle it out to claim the Bob Vanatta Trophy.

The 46th conference season tips off on Thursday, Jan. 4, with eight teams in action. Reigning ASUN Champion Kennesaw State begins its league slate at home by hosting Queens in a 2023 ASUN Championship Quarterfinal rematch inside the Convocation Center on Jan. 6. Austin Peay, entering its second year of action in the league, hosts its first conference game inside the new F&M Bank Arena on Jan. 18, when the Govs welcome North Alabama to Clarksville. EKU travels to Florence to battle the Lions in another rematch from last season's quarterfinal round of the conference tournament.

The 12 league squads are set to compete in two divisions this season with the East Division including FGCU, Jacksonville, KSU, North Florida, Queens and Stetson while APSU, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, EKU, Lipscomb and UNA comprise the West Division.

The 2024 ASUN Championship will have a 10-team format that features the top five teams from each division. All games take place at campus sites with the top seeds hosting each successive round of the event. The first round begins on Monday, March 4 with the championship final taking place on Sunday, March 10.
