The eighth installment for the 2023-24 season features FGCU's student-athlete, Dolly Cairns. The senior guard has earned consecutive ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors. The Eagles are riding high on a successful week of basketball, securing a commanding 77-point victory over Ave Maria and pulling off an impressive upset against No. 18 UNC. Cairns, who made a noteworthy transfer from Rhode Island during the offseason, has become a pivotal player for FGCU.
