In the series, Watkins catches up with coaches and student-athletes throughout the academic year. Nov. 24 | Lipscomb's Ahsan Asadullah
This installment features Lipscomb center Ahsan Asadullah as he was voted ASUN Men's Basketball Preseason Player of the Year. The junior ranked in the top three for the conference in scoring, rebounding, and assists. Asadullah is also one of 20 players on the 2021 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award Watch List, an award presented by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for the nation's top center.

Ahsan Asadullah talks about the team's transition under Head Coach Lennie Acuff after the Bisons' NIT Tournament run from two years ago. The junior also opens up about his preseason workouts and expanding his game during the extended off-season.
