Melody Battle joined the ASUN Conference in March 2015 after working nearly five years with the University of Georgia where she was the administrative manager in the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology.

Prior to the University of Georgia, Battle served as the ​administrative specialist​ at Georgia State University​ for ​the Georgia Cancer Coalition and at Holy Innocents Episcopal School in the Office of Institutional Advancement, Marketing and Alumni Relations.

Battle's community involvement includes youth mentorship and volunteer outreach to support many services to women and children through her church and various community organizations in both the Atlanta and Middle Georgia areas.

Battle currently resides just outside of Atlanta, Ga. with her husband, Joshua and dog Sophie.
