ATLANTA – After strong performances on the diamond last week, Hogan McIntosh of Jacksonville and Austin Amaral from Stetson were selected as the ASUN Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, as the league office announced its weekly honors on Monday afternoon.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Ninth-seeded Stetson advanced to the ASUN Championship Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon after the Hatters were able to outlast #10 Jacksonville, 60-53. The victory gives Stetson another opportunity to face #1 FGCU on its home floor in the league's postseason as the two programs collide once again on Sunday evening at 5 PM.

ATLANTA – Jayden Hylton of Stetson (Player) and Nolan Pender of Bellarmine (Pitcher) are the first recipients of the ASUN Conference Baseball weekly accolades for 2023, announced Monday afternoon by the league office. Hylton helped the Hatters to a season-opening three-game sweep over Manhattan after batting 6-for-11 (.545 average) with two doubles and a home run while earning seven RBIs. Pender gathered a season-opening victory on the mound after a career-high 11 strikeouts on the road at New Mexico State.

ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference office announced its 2023 Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-Conference awards Thursday, as voted on by the league's eight head coaches. The defending ASUN Champion Jacksonville Dolphins were chosen to repeat as the top team for the upcoming campaign after collecting six first-place votes and 62 total points in the poll. Liberty, the runner-up in 2022, was tabbed for second with 54 points and a first-place vote while Coastal Carolina earned the final first-place vote to rank third in the poll with 49 points.

ATLANTA - Kennesaw State's Brandon Stroud and Stetson's Jalen Blackmon earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Both student-athletes garnered their second weekly recognition of the season with Stroud being named Player of the Week and Blackmon securing the Newcomer distinction.

ATLANTA - Bellarmine's Garrett Tipton and Stetson's Luke Brown earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Tipton took home his first Player of the Week honor after helping the Knights pick up two wins last week and averaging 22 points per game. Brown captured his second Newcomer of the Week honor this season after the Hatters went 3-0 on the week to remain undefeated in conference play this season.

ATLANTA - FGCU's Zach Anderson and Stetson's Jalen Blackmon earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Anderson garnered his second Player of the Week award of the season after aiding the Eagles' 18-point comeback at home against Jacksonville on Saturday. Blackmon was tabbed Newcomer of the Week for the first time after helping the Hatters outlast Lipscomb during Friday's overtime matchup in Nashville.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2022 All-Region teams on Tuesday, and ASUN Conference Men's Soccer had nine student-athletes named to the All-Atlantic Region and its respective squads.

ATLANTA – The second set of ASUN Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors are in the books for 2022-23 as the league office announced its winners on Monday afternoon. Tishara Morehouse of FGCU reeled in Player of the Week and was joined by Kierra Prim of Central Arkansas (Newcomer) and Jaelyn Talley of Stetson (Freshman) rounded out the award winners. Morehouse posted 16.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest as the 25th-ranked Eagles improved to 4-0 to begin the year. Prim secured her recognition after putting up a pair of double-doubles last week in wins over Lindenwood (55-43) and Louisiana-Monroe (60-53), while Talley connected on 14-of-23 shooting for the Hatters in two victories.

Two Saturday night matchups mark the First Round of the ASUN Conference Men's Soccer Championships on the campuses of #1 Lipscomb (Nashville, Tenn.) and #2 Central Arkansas (Conway, Ark.). The first match features #3 Stetson and #6 Bellarmine in Conway at 5 PM CT while #4 FGCU and #5 North Florida meet in the Music City at 7 PM CT on YouTube.

ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference office announced its weekly award winners for Women's Soccer on Tuesday as Kennesaw State's Tianna Rivera (Player), North Florida's Zara Siassi (Defensive Player) and Stetson's Ashleigh Wise (Goalkeeper) all heard their names called in their respective category. Rivera scored twice last week in a pair of KSU victories, including an 89th-minute header to shock Bellarmine. Siassi helped UNF shut out both Queens and Liberty in 0-0 outcomes while Wise manned the net for the Hatters and posted 23 total stops against Austin Peay and Lipscomb.

ATLANTA – The 2022 edition of the MLB Playoffs has entered the second weekend of action, and the professional diamond has seen a trio of ASUN Conference Baseball alumni show their talents on the brightest stage. 

TAMPA, Fla. (gohatters.com) - Stetson men's soccer beat South Florida, 3-2, thanks in part to a pair of late goals Wednesday night at Corbett Stadium in Tampa. The win marks the first win over the Bulls since 1998.

ATLANTA – Liberty and Stetson both came away with a point in a 2-2 draw between the two ASUN Conference Men's Soccer programs on Saturday in Lynchburg. 

ATLANTA – Three first-time ASUN Conference Men's Soccer weekly awards were handed out on Tuesday, announced by the conference office. Stetson's Gio Rodriguez (Player) collected the first weekly award of the season for the Hatters following his two goals in a 2-0 win at UNF. Central Arkansas' Bradyn Knutson picked up the Defensive Player of the Week honor after helping the Bears in their shutout victory against Bellarmine while the shutout performance by Queens' Javier Izquierdo-Cuervo earned him the first ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week award for the Royals in the program's history.
