JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference(ASUN) has announced its weekly award winners for men’s and women’s golf for Thursday, Sept. 24.

MEN’S GOLF

Golfer of the Week: Uy Doan, Stetson

Doan claimed his first individual tournament championship at the collegiate level at the Florida Atlantic Invitational, while leading Stetson to a third place finish. Doan finished with a final score of 202 (-14) including rounds of 66-68-68, which is the lowest 54-hole score in program history. Doan knocked in seventeen birdies during the tournament and a birdie on the final hole of the second round.

WOMEN’S GOLF

Golfer of the Week: Charlene Lamb, FGCU

Lamb finished tied for 22nd place at the Lady Paladin Invitational. Lamb had a team-high final score of 218 (+2) with ten birdies throughout the tournament and picked up a 2-under in the opening round.
