JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference(ASUN) has announced its weekly award winners for men’s and women’s golf for Thursday, Sept. 10.
MEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Andrew Morgan, Jacksonville
Morgan finished tied for 43rd place at the JT Poston Invitational. Morgan led Jacksonville with a 212 (-1) final score including thirteen birdies over the three rounds and carded a 3-under in the second round.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Mariana Arronte, West Florida
Arronte brought the Argonauts to a first place team finish while also placing first individually in the Velvet Classic with a 214 (-2) final score. Arronte led the way for the Argonauts with rounds of 73-70-71, sinking nine birdies over three rounds.
