Atlantic Sun Conference Extends Partnership with S3 Design

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Unisun Sports and the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) are proud to announce a multi-year extension of its partnership with S3 Design, further strengthening the relationship between the conference and one of the nation’s premier architecture and planning firms specializing in athletics and recreation facilities.

Originally launched in 2024, the partnership has created valuable opportunities for ASUN member institutions to access industry-leading expertise in facility planning, architecture, interior design, and athletic environment strategy. Through this extension, S3 Design will continue serving as a trusted resource for member institutions as they invest in spaces that elevate the student-athlete and fan experience.

The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) and the United Athletic Conference (UAC) announced the formation of Unisun Sports, a groundbreaking joint venture built to support the strategic alliance between both conferences. Set to launch on July 1, 2026, Unisun Sports will offer shared services and resources, enhanced revenue generating opportunities, collective purchasing, and featured scheduling alliances, enhancing the student-athlete experience within the ASUN and UAC.

About the Atlantic Sun Conference
The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN), founded in 1978, is an NCAA Division I athletic conference. Beginning July 1, 2026 the ASUN will be composed of eight (8) destination-based institutions spread throughout the southeastern United States. 

ASUN members include Bellarmine University (Louisville, Ky.), Florida Gulf Coast University (Fort Myers, Fla.), Jacksonville University (Jacksonville, Fla.), Lipscomb University (Nashville, Tenn.), the University of North Florida (Jacksonville, Fla.), Queens University of Charlotte (Charlotte, N.C.), Stetson University (DeLand, Fla.), and the University of West Florida (Pensacola, Fla.).
