JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Utah swept this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men’s Lacrosse honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Attacker Luke McNamara was named Offenive Player of the Week after setting the program record for goals with 10 against Iona. He notched a career-high points, took 15 shots; 12 of which were on goal and nabbed one ground ball. His 11 points are tied for most by any player nationally this season. Nikko DiPonio earned the Defensive Player distinction. He recorded nine ground balls, and forced one turnover. The Utes allowed just four goals, the second fewest in program history.
