2026 ASUN Women's Basketball Postseason Honors Announced

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Central Arkansas, EKU and Jacksonville earned individual superlative awards to headline the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Basketball postseason honors announced Monday.

Priscilla Williams was named Player of the Year after leading the Dolphins to a 20-win season. She leads the team in double-doubles with 10, which ranks 39th in the nation. Williams recorded a school-record 44 points against Central Arkansas, marking the only 40-point game in the league this season. Fellow Dolphin, Tatum Brown was named Freshman of the Year. Brown led the conference in steals per game with 2.3 and averaged 10.1 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game. The guard recorded two double-doubles and notched a career-high 20 points twice this season. 

UCA’s Bree Stephens earned the Defensive Player of the Year distiniction for the second year in a row. She ranked third in the ASUN with 47 blocks, and seventh in steals with 49. This season marked the third-straight season of 40 blocks and 40 steals for the senior. Throughout conference play, she led the Sugar Bears to allow just 56.1 points per game overall. 

The Colonels’ Joseana Vaz earned the Newcomer of the Year honor. She averaged 15.3 points per game, and 6.1 rebounds per game in conference play. She recorded two double-doubles this season against Queens and West Georgia while logging 11-straight games with 10 or more points. EKU’s Ndidiamaka Ndukwe was named Sixth Woman of the Year. She averaged 12.0 points per game in conference play. She posted three-straight 20-point performances.

In his fifth season at the helm, Greg Todd was named Coach of the Year. Todd led EKU to its first ASUN Regular Season Title since joining the league. He tied the school single-season win record with 24 wins and notched 15 conference wins, the most for the program since 2005.
