Bellarmine's Alie Highlights 2025 Academic All-ASUN Team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Bellarmine's John Alie was tabbed the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced Wednesday by the league office. Alie is joined by 12 other student-athletes on the Academic All-ASUN Team.

Alie has a cumulative 3.84 GPA while majoring in Finance. The Aurora, Colo., native ranks fourth in the NCAA with 48 goals while being tied for 30th with 24 assists. His 4.50 points per game rank thirteenth in the NCAA and his 3.00 goals per game rank ninth. The junior attacker's 72 points and 48 goals each rank second in Bellarmine single-season history while his 24 assists rank fifth.

The Academic All-ASUN Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom and exemplify the ASUN's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
