UNF's Kolbe Named Scholar-Athlete of the Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida's Smilla Kolbe has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced Thursday by the league office. 

Kolbe is a Psychology major and holds a cumulative 4.0 GPA. The Hanover, Germany, native finished in first place in the 800-Meter at the 2025 ASUN Indoor Track and Field Championship, setting a new meet record with a time of 2:02.98. She also claimed first place in the 800-Meter at the Celebration Pointe Classic with a time of 2:02.08. 

The Academic All-ASUN Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the track and in the classroom and exemplify the ASUN's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's contests.
