JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb's James Schmidt and Central Arkansas' Jaden Schneeberger and Sloan Jones earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Indoor Track and Field awards, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Schmidt took first place in the Mile at the Music City Challenge with a time of 3:59.93. He also ran a 1:50.23 in the 800-Meter which currently ranks first among ASUN student-athletes. Schneeberger broke his own school record and placed fourth in the Shot Put at the Ichabod Invitational. His toss of 16.62m is currenly the best distance in the ASUN. Jones set a pair of personal bests this week, with a time of 7.99 in the 60-Meter Hurdles and a mark of 4.15m in the Pole Vault.
