North Florida, Queens and West Georgia Claim Men's Indoor Track & Field Weekly Accolades



JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida's Jonathan Bailey, Queens' Petar Canak and West Georgia's Gavin Barlow earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Indoor Track and Field awards, announced Wednesday by the league office.

Barlow was named Track Performer of the Week after breaking the Ospreys' program record in the men's 60m at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic. He finished fifth in the event with a time of 6.86 seconds. Canak was named Field Performer of the Week after winning the Long Jump at the Camel City Sprints Invitational with a mark of 7.17m. That mark currently ranks first in the ASUN. Gavin Barlow was named Freshman of the Week after finishing second in the Long Jump at the UAB Vulcan Invitational with a mark of 7.13m. He also ran a 6.95 in the 60m over the weekend.
