BATON ROUGE, La. – Lipscomb Men's Golf finished round three of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional on Wednesday afternoon. The Bisons finished with an overall score of 888 (+24) which was good for 10
th place.
During the third round, Will Holan and Jaron Leasure led the way, each with an even 72 on the day. Will Holan started his round off hot with a par on his first hole and an eagle on a tough par 5. Through the rest of the front nine, Holan put up three bogeys and a birdie to go even. On the front nine, Holan was steady with seven pars, a birdie and a bogey to finish even on the round. All told, Holan finished as Lipscomb's top competitor at (+5) to finish tied for 29
th.
Leasure had his best round of the tournament on Wednesday, going even on both the front and back nine. He started his round hot with three birdies in the first six holes, but a few bogeys set him back. On the back nine, he connected on seven pars, a birdie and a bogey to finish the day at 72. On the tournament, Leasure finished (+7), tied for 38
th in the field.
Ford Goldasich shot a 75 on the day to finish his round at (+3). Wednesday, Goldasich connected on four birdies and nine pars. All told, Goldasich finished the regional (+8) and tied for the 43
rd spot.
Sam Potter and Alejandro Rodriguez rounded out the final round for the Bisons. Potter shot a 77 (+5) while Rodriguez scored a 79 (+7).
On the day, Potter had four birdies and seven pars. All told, Potter was (+12) on the tournament and finished tied for 54
th. Rodriguez was the Bisons' top golfer heading into the final round, but slowed with a 79 in the final round. He was (+2) in his front nine, but a (+5) in the back nine led to a (+7) on the day. For the regional, Rodriguez finished (+9) and tied for 45
th.

The Bisons finished its season as the 2024 ASUN Tournament Champions with Will Holan being crowned the Individual Champion. The team Championship marked the first in program history while Holan's individual medal was the Bisons' first since 2017.
