FORT MYERS, Fla. – Following Friday's 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Volleyball Championship Semifinal matchups, FGCU and Lipscomb are set to clash Saturday in the tournament finale.

Lipscomb punched its ticket back to the ASUN Championship Final after sweeping Central Arkansas in the day's first semifinal contest. The Bisons' held the Sugar Bears to only .070 hitting across three sets while Lipscomb hit .255 as a team. All-ASUN First Team member Courtney Jones was the only person in the match to reach double digits in kills with 14 for the Bisons. Jones' teammates Sophia Hudepohl tallied 34 assists while Libby Steinhart notched 20 digs.


#1 FGCU 3, #4 EKU 1
The top-seeded FGCU Eagles advanced to the championship final for the ninth season in a row after defeating EKU in four sets. The Eagles took the first frame with the Colonels responding with a victory in set two. FGCU claimed sets three and four to avenge a loss earlier in the season to EKU. Skylar English (16) and ASUN Player of the Year Shelby Kent (15) combined for 31 of FGCU's 64 team kills. Defensive Player of the Year Josie Schmitendorf tallied 20 digs for EKU.


The 2024 ASUN Championship concludes on Saturday at 7 PM ET inside Alico Arena. The title contest between the Bisons and Eagles can be streamed live on ESPN+.
