JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bellarmine's Chase Atkins earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Cross Country honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Atkins earned both Runner of the Week after a top-10 finish at the Gold Race at the Live in Lou Clasic. He finished 6th out of 271 runners at 24:03, which ranks third all-time in the 8K in program history. The junior from Hopkinsville, Ky., now owns three of Bellarmine's top-15 all-time marks in the 8K.
