JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – EKU's Justine Kipkoech and North Alabama's Brian Bett earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Cross Country honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Kipkoech earned Runner of the Week after he delivered a third-place finish at the Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin last weekend. The sophomore finished with a new personal best time of 22:41.8 in the 8K. Bett secured his fourth Freshman honor of the season after posting a 23.35.2 finish at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He finished sixth in the event, besting runners the included competitors from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee.
