KSU's Hanson, JAX's Long Garner Final Set of #ASUNBSB Weekly Accolades
ATLANTA – The final edition of the ASUN Conference Baseball weekly awards were sent to Spencer Hanson of Kennesaw State and Richard Long of Jacksonville, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Hanson (Player) secured his second career honor after helping the Owls wrap up the regular season with a road series win at FGCU thanks to batting .625 overall (10-for-16) in four games with three home runs and nine RBIs. Long (Pitcher) got the call on the mound for JAX and helped the club qualify for the ASUN Baseball Championship after throwing the team's first nine-inning complete game in over two years.

- Finished the season with the team lead in average, home runs and RBIs for 2023

- Threw his first career complete game on Friday night; JAX defeated North Florida, 2-1
- Helped his team clinch a spot in the ASUN Baseball Championship with the victory over the Ospreys
- Allowed one run on five hits; struck out five and faced one batter over the minimum from fifth inning on
- Cemented the first nine-inning complete game for JAX since Tyler Santana on March 19, 2021
