ATLANTA - EKU's Isaiah Cozart and Austin Peay's DeMarcus Sharp earned the season's first Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office. Cozart was named Player of the Week while the Newcomer of the Week award went to Sharp.

- Opened the season with back-to-back double-double performances
- Recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds over 25 minutes of action in the season opener
- Followed up with a career-high 33 points and 14 more boards in only 23 minutes
- Averaged 4.5 blocks per game while shooting 77% from the field in the two wins

- First Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week award; third all-time honor for the Governors
- Began his Austin Peay career with double-doubles against Life and George Mason
- Notched 10 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists last Monday against the Running Eagles
- Led the game in scoring against the Patriots with 23 along with a career-high 13 boards
- Shot 7-for-7 from the charity stripe on the week while totaling nine assists and three blocks
