In the series, Watkins catches up with coaches and student-athletes throughout the academic year. This installment features Liberty Women's Soccer student-athletes Zoe Gaffney and Kasey Jamieson. Coming off of a four-game winning streak to claim the 2021 Spring ASUN Championship, the pair recount the title game and representing the conference in the NCAA Tournament. The senior duo both hail from Michigan and talk about what made them choose Liberty University. Gaffney sat out last season due to injury and talks about her rehab as well as her journey back to the pitch. Jamieson speaks on balancing both school and athletics after being named the 2021 Spring ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
The midfielder and forward also talk about the importance of starting the regular season schedule out strong out and building on last season's success.
