The Lunch Box with North Florida's Ivan Gandia-Rosa

ATLANTA, Ga. - In the ASUN Conference's newest video initiative, The Lunch Box, ASUN Director of Social Media Kendrell Watkins catches up with member coaches and student-athletes each week throughout the 2019-20 academic year. Sept. 13 | North Florida Men's Basketball's Ivan Gandia-Rosa
This week's episode features North Florida Men's Basketball point guard Ivan Gandia-Rosa following an eventful summer for the senior. Gandia-Rosa talks about representing his homeland of Puerto Rico and earning a Silver Medal in the 2019 Pan AM games in Lima, Peru. The two-time ASUN leader in assists per game also speaks on leadership on and off of the court as he prepares for his senior season.

North Florida finished tied for third in the conference last season with a 9-7 record and advanced to the ASUN Championship Semifinals. Gandia-Rosa led the league in total assists (192) and assists per game (5.8) a year ago. In 2017-18, he dished out a career-best 205 assists which ranks No. 10 in the ASUN single-season records. The Ospreys open the 2019-20 campaign Nov. 5th at Florida, along with road trips to Iowa, Creighton, Syracuse and Dayton.
