JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) announced its 2025-26 Men's Basketball schedule on Tuesday marking the 48th season of league competition with 12 teams preparing to battle it out to claim the Bob Vanatta Trophy.
The 108-game conference slate tips off on Thursday, Jan. 1, with all of the league's squads in action. Reigning ASUN Champion Lipscomb welcomes Jacksonville to Allen Arena as the Bisons begin their quest for a back-to-back title. North Alabama, fresh off an appearance in the championship final and its first regular-season crown, hits the road for a week one matchup against Stetson. Other conference openers see EKU traveling to face Queens, FGCU competing against Central Arkansas in Conway and Austin Peay welcoming North Florida to Clarksville. West Georgia begins its second season in the ASUN at home against the Bellarmine Knights who are beginning a new era under Head Coach Doug Davenport.
The 2026 ASUN Men's Basketball Tournament takes place in Jacksonville, Fla., and begins on Wednesday, March 4, with first-round action hosted on campus sites. The quarterfinals through championship final are being held at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, located downtown, providing an elite championship experience for ASUN student-athletes, families, and fans and elevating the profile of ASUN Basketball. On Sunday, March 8, the tournament finale to determine which team represents the Atlantic Sun Conference in the 2026 NCAA Tournament is set to broadcast live on ESPN2.
